Reviews

Korean aficionados and office executives working around the Suntec City and Millenia Walk area craving Korean food shouldn’t miss Come N Joy, which serves authentic eats for lunch and dinner.

Headed by owners Kris and Michelle, the restaurant evokes a homey atmosphere, which extends to its menu. Its dishes are crafted by Michelle, who also makes the kimchi and sauces daily.

We began with the Bulgogi Bibimbap, which tasted as good as it looked. The healthy and colourful dish comprises rice, vegetables and beef, and it comes with gochujang (a type of Korean sauce), as well as a soup of the day.

A quick lunch can be the satisfying Seafood Ramyun featuring a rich seafood broth with kimchi, springy noodles that are imported directly from Korea, as well as mussels, prawns and squid.

For dinner or supper, don’t miss the indulgent Soy Garlic Chicken that is enrobed in a sweet sauce with sesame seeds. Plastic gloves are thoughtfully provided as you sink your teeth into tender and juicy thighs and wings. The chicken is paired with a refreshing radish pickle, and complemented with fried gyoza.

Headed there in a group, and looking for dishes to share? Try the Spicy Pork Belly, which serves mainly lean meat, and is generously coated in a sweet and spicy sauce.
